| Reviewer's comments: | | | "This is definitely not E. altissimum...the inflorescense is too dense, the leaves too wide, the white flower color is off, and it's way(!) out of range for that geographically very localized species known only from a few population clusters far to the south in San Luis Obispo County.
The only species of Eriodictyon recorded as far north as Napa County is the widespread E. californicum. Although the leaves visible here appear to be on the narrow side for E. californicum, they're arguably within the spectrum of variation for the species...and the flowers, and inflorescence are completely in agreement with E. californicum."
