notes Hyla albopunctata (Amphibia: Hylidae) is a common treefrog in riparian habitats in the Cerrado. this specimen was pictured in January, in the peak of the rainy season. The specimen was calling on the top of a leaf of a small Buriti palm (Mauritia sp.), typical of central Brazilian 'veredas' (palm marshes) where this and many other Cerrado frogs are abundant.photo category: Animal - Amphibian
