| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "In my opinion, both E. rupinum and E. mensicola were inappropriately synonymized under E. panamintense in the Jepson Manual treatment. This plant has the leaf size, shape, and pubsescence, leafless inflorescences, and large flowers typical of E. rupinum in the White Mountains.
