| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Species misidentified. Morelia bredli is restricted to a small area within Northern Territory and does not occur in Queensland where the photograph was taken. Additionally, the color and pattern are more consistent with the coastal carpet python (Morelia spilota mcdowelli) which occurs throughout much of Queensland. " |

| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Per Dr. Wolfgang Wüster: As is stated in the extra information, the photo concerned was actually taken in a captive collection (Wild World) in Cairns, Queensland, where it was registered and labelled as M. bredli. I have no data on the origin of the snake, and cannot comment on the colour pattern differences in Morelia, but the snake was certainly compatible with specimens labelled M. bredli in other captive collections in Australia. " |
