| Reviewer's comments: | | | "This is one of several geographic segregates of this remarkable species, the only clover that extends across the entire continent of Asia. Other races have white red, and pinkish-lavender flowers, and all have multiple leaflets. Note to Dr. Kurzenko: I enjoyed looking through your collection of photos from Primorsky Terr. Thanks for posting those. Is that the region referred to in the song about "granitniye skali, kholodnaya kromko zemlyi"? A school friend 50 years ago had a recording of that and other songs, including a political one about "Moskva-Pekin...idut idut vperyod narodi" etc. Seems funny now. Back to T. pacificum, I have a question: would you have access to seeds of this, or of T. eximium or T. gordejevii? None of the gene banks in this country have any of these. I think a trade could be arranged if you wish. And Thanks again for your photo contributions. Regards, RM" |
