| Reviewer's comments: | | | | "These are clearly heads of Psilocarphus, and the leaf shape and relatively thin pubescence are conclusive for var. tenellus. Micropus amphibolus is very similar to M. californicus, except for the two cycles of paleae which are merely hooded rather than gibbous and harp-shaped.
