  • notes   Dark above with yellow blotches, large blotch behind each eye, below pale and somewhat transparent; eyes black. Found under log coexisting with large family of mice. Perhaps warmth radiated from these mammals made this log more appealing. Weather at time was extremely cold, with sporadic snow flurries.
