notes As you crest Ebbet's Pass on Highway 4, there is a cattleguard across the road right at the top of the pass. At this point is a pull-out which allows access to a seep-spring about 50 yards straight south of the highway. This area is a good access point for wildflower enthusiasts who may not be able to make the long walks or climbs some us can. It is a level walk and just FULL of wildflowers from May through September. These late-staying Delpinium glaucum are showing the ravages of the season, but are a great example of the surprises that delighted me here on several quick checks through the 2001 season.camera Sony Mavica MVC FD-83
