INFORMATION PROVIDED WITH THE PHOTO
  • date of photo  Apr 5, 2019
  • location   Poison Canyon, east of Ridgecrest...southwest of Trona (Kern County, California, US)
  • family Campanulaceae
  • notes   I hesitated to post this collage due to the poorly-focused images, but figured it was worthwhile since (at full-size) they give the best sense I was able to capture for the glistening, rod-like, digitate processes at the distal ends of the appendages to the bases of the two lower filaments. As best I can discern, there are 4 or 5 such translucent 'rods' at the tips of those appendages.
