plant community Desert Scrub, in rocky canyon.notes Two 'bellows'-shaped fruits of Carlowrightia arizonica are visible here: a fresh green one below, and a older tan-colored one above. The stems are dull-green and 'felt' like, similar to the stems of its more common cousin, Chuparosa (Justicia californica).
