along Upper Bristlecone Pine Trail, from trailhead at end of NV 156(Lee Canyon Rd.), 1.1 mile to turnaround and return just past trail fork north to Trail overlook, Toiyabe Nat'l Forest, Spring Mts. (Nevada, US)plant community in coarse gravels and calcareous soil at base of steep limestone outcrop on limestone hillside, with a montane conifer forest communitynotes flowers with 5 sepals, 5 petals. GPS co-ordinates given above are for beginning at trailhead only. GPS reading for ending turn around point on the trail was 36.29939,-115.69343 (elv. 9210' (2807m). No individual plant locations or elevations were determined over the 1.1 mile hike between these two points.photo category: Plant - shrub
