Alta Sierra, at Black Mountain. Greenhorn Mountains. (Kern County, California, US)notes A few individuals growing in an old logging skid road on the western flank of Black Mountain. Wyethia invenusta appears to be a disturbance (+ fire?) follower. The two locations I observed the species at Greenhorn Mtns, it occurred in previously disturbed soil - old logging skid road and along the uphill and downhill road banks of Forest Route 23S16.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
