habitat open, interdunal area in sand dune fieldnotes These hairy scarabs flew to a light in my truck only during the first hour after dark. They came to the light on the nights of 2-6 May, while they were absent on the nights of 18-22 April at exactly the same place. This suggests that they have a limited flight period during the autumn.keywords: Myloxena species
