plant community Prairie, open grasslandnotes Rare plant listed as endangered in Canada and threatened in the US. Endemic to Willamette Valley-Puget Trough-Georgia Basin Ecoregion. Extirpated from Oregon, but re-introduced 2004 & later. Unknown date of planting in NWR. Only yellow paintbrush in this region. Habitat is often on glacial outwash or depositional material. Leaves alternate, entire, 1-3 pair lobes upper third. Bracts golden yellow. Elevation around 260ft/79mcamera Olympus Stylus TG-4
