plant community Prairie, open grasslandsnotes Note leaves alternate with sticky hair, 1-3 pairs of short lateral lobes on upper 1/3, and bright, golden yellow bracts. Endemic to Willamette Valley-Puget Trough-Georgia Basin Ecoregion (between coast range and Cascades Range in Oregon, Wahshington, British Columbia). Area reduced to a few populations in BC and WA. Was extirpated from Willamette Valley, Oregon, but replanted in Benton county. This area may have been planted in 2014.camera Olympus Stylus TG-4
