Grown from seed collected from individuals in fruit at La Campana, Valparaiso (Region IV), Chile. Habitat for C. dentata at La Campana is very similar to that of C. contorta and C. strigulosa in California - sandy soils in open shrub gaps and other open areas. C. dentata at La Campana was growing in disturbed sandy soils on a ridge saddle, at a hiking trail intersection.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
