notes The fruits (also called 'cypselae' or often 'achenes' in this family) are quite villous here. And they look rather flattened, though the FNA genus description indicates cypselea in Lessingia are ''not compressed''. (There's no mention of cypselae shape in the species descriptions in the FNA or Jepson eFlora.) Nevertheless, I have no doubt this is L. germanorum.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
