plant community Chihuahuan Desert scrub at 4422' (1348m)notes short caulescent, clumping stem-succulent on a low crest of reddish gravels and shallow pale sands and silts over eroding limestone bedrock. Foliage pale gray-green, lightly glaucous without bluish cast. Mature leaf blades basal width greater than 2 cm. Inflorescence slender.keywords: CDR , Chihuahuan Desert
