habitat open fieldnotes When I was mowing our pasture a couple of days ago, there were clouds of these guys in front of the tractor, so today I went down to the adjacent (not yet mowed) pasture and captured several of these guys with a sweeping net. They were mainly on Ripgut (Bromus diandrus); 8mm length. ID confirmed by John S. Ascher at BugGuide.camera Canon EOS 70D, MP-E 65mm lens
