  • notes   Habit of a branched-at-base, ascending-to-decumbent plant of Navarretia rosulata, growing on serpentine gravel substrate off Pine Mountain Road on Carson Ridge. I didn't realize until after I keyed this that it's nearly a Marin County endemic, except for a few stations in serpentine locales (Cedar Roughs & Butts Canyon)in Napa County.
