plant community creek riparian in pine-oak-juniper woodland at 1897m (6230')notes riparian corridor of small tributary of Rio Verde in narrow canyon cut in volcanic rhyolitic tuff. Plants in volcanic silts, coarse soils, mixed gravels and scattered large boulders of canyon bottomland. Note distinctive white felty pubescence on underside of leaves, glabrous on upper surfacekeywords: SMOc
