plant community creek riparian in pine-oak-juniper woodland at 1897m (6230')notes riparian corridor of small tributary of Rio Verde in narrow canyon cut in volcanic rhyolitic tuff. Plants in volcanic silts, coarse soils, mixed gravels and scattered large boulders of canyon bottomland. This is an extraordinarily tall mature specimen with height inferred by 6'10' figure visible at base of tree as ca. 36+ feetkeywords: SMOc
