location
On Cerro Noreste Rd, about 10-11 miles southeast of junction with highway CA-166, along county line (Kern/Ventura County, California, US)family
Fabaceae
notes A yellow-flowered form. The short-appressed hairs of the calyces and relatively sparsely long-hairy bracts (compared to the shaggy hairy bracts and calyces of variety microcarpus) make me think this would probably go to L. m. var. densiflorus in the Jepson eFlora treatment.high resolution file https://www.flickr.com/photos/17069890@N03/24712565531/sizes/o
