plant community pine- oak woodland at 6900' (2100m) elev.notes on roadside exposure of white hydrothermally altered volcanic tuff with Pinus chihuahuana, Pinus trieste and Quercus jonesii, just north of Barracnca Batopilas rim. Note typical folded leathery leaves which are the largest of all Madrean oakskeywords: SMOc, Batopilas
