Campanulaceae
notes Habit shot, showing the way in which this species grows densely along crevices in nearly vertical granitic outcrops. The plant is a perennial with dense rhizomatous mats that tightly fill the crevices. It's hard to tell where one plant ends and another begins. The substrate in the general area is heterogenous, with outcrops of metamorphic as well as granitic rock...but this species seemed to occur only on the granitics.photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
