location
nSNH; Truckee River wateshed; along Squaw Creek near the Truckee River. North side of Creeks End Court. (Placer County, California, US)notes Uncommon shrub, found along Squaw Creek and not at reported location of collections from a spring fed bog (which we could not find and may no longer exist) at Junction of Squaw Valley Road and Highway 89. Leaves look more Dogwood like than Alder like, in my opinion. Easy to overlook this plant in flower as flowers are small and have no petals.contributor's ID # RhamnaceaeRhamnusalnifolia2-PZ2A9504.jpg photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
