Buenaventura, Chihuahua, Mexico)plant community semi-arid grassland at 4955'notes grassy roadside with Gaura coccinea, Rhynchosida physocalyx, Allonia incarnata, Thymophylla pentachaeta, Desmanthus cooleyi, Chamaesaracha coronopus, Stephanomeria pauciflora, Dalea pogonathera, Berlandiera lyrata, Physalis heterophylla . Variety is probably v. wrightii but no mature flowers seen for certain determination.keywords: CDR, Chihuahuan Desert
