Nyctaginaceae
notes Being glandular (and it is VERY glandular and sticky!) is not a sufficient condition to place this plant within variety glandulosa as opposed to pubescens. The fruit, pictured here, are supposed to be 'faintly warty, ribs generally inconspicuous, gelatinous when wet'. I put some water on one of these fruit and did not experience any sort of gelatinous sensation. I have photographed the other variety but not the fruit, alas, at that time.contributor's ID # NyctaginaceaeMirabilismultiflora var. glandulosa9-PZ2A2391.jpg photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
