  • notes   Fish Springs Cinder Cone is a feature in the Big Pine Volcanic Field just south of the town of Big Pine. It was created by an eruption about 314,000 years ago. The basalt cone sits astride the Fish Springs Fault. The eruption was probably fault-controlled.
