notes Flowers were pale purple-to-blue-to-white, rotate in shape (i.e. virtually no tube, limbs lie in a plane), and had auricles at the sinuses of the calyx lobes tiny to absent. The pedicels reflex when flower goes to fruit. This plant was fairly common in shady spots of the Blue Oak/Grey Pine woodland in this area. Flowersphoto category: Plant - annual/perennial
