Shrubs are Arctostaphylos parryana, Artemisia tridentata, Quercus dumosa, Hesperoyucca whipplei (=Yucca whipplei). Note man loking at large clump of Arctostaphylos parryana. Illustrates radial spreading of this species by layering; origin probably a single individual. Center now thinning out. (Also contains No 302515), T 9 N R 20 W Sec 26 Quad name: Tejon. Quad number: 154. Reference to map: 25.
