| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Ground color is not consistent with C. ruber, and typical "coontail" markings for C. ruber are absent. Color and tail markings are consistent with C. oreganus, which is common and well documented at Torrey Pines Reserve. C. ruber has not been documented by museum specimen at Torrey Pines Reserve." |
