| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Red-shouldered Hawk has a stouter, broader look than accipiters do, though the juvenile plumages are similar. Useful here is the white checks on the sides in the folded wings (secondaries) which are distinctive for for Redshoulders, adult and juvenile. This is juv." |
