notes A single plant of P. brachyloba. This photo was taken the first spring after a major fire in the patchwork chaparral/oak woodland (sandy substrate) in the interior of Fort Ord (now publicly accessible BLM land). The abundance, diversity, and exuberance of flowering plants was phenomenal!camera Shot at f10, 1/80, ISO 100 on a Canon D60 with a Canon 50mm compact macro lens.
