notes Slo.: dlakavi samovratec - Syn.: Monotropa hypopitys - Habitat: Fagus sylvatica forest with some Picea abies, north oriented modestly steep mountain slope, calcareous bedrock, in shade, partly protected from direct rain by tree canopies, average precipitation ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 7-9 deg C, elevation 650 m (2.100 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: forest soil. - Comment: Growing solitary.
