Zadnjica valley, lower Stružnik place, East Julian Alps, Posoèje (Posoèje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: beneška koprenka (gorska razlièica) - Habitat: Young open mixed wood, predominately Picea abies, some Pinus sp. and few Fagus sylvatica, mossy, quite humid ground, in half shade, no sun during winter months, nearly flat calcareous torrent deposits covered by vegetation, average precipitations ~3.000 mm/year, average temperature 6-8 deg C, elevation 840 m (2.750 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: grassy and mossy ground. - Comments: Growing solitary or in small groups, several fruitbodies. Pileus diameter 3 to 5 cm (1.2 to 2 inches). Spores warty. Spore dimensions: 6,8 (SD = 0.4) x 5,8 (SD = 0.4) micr., Q = 1.19 (SD = 0.06), n = 30. Motic B2-211A, magnification 1.000 x, oil, in water.
