Zadnjica valley, East Julian Alps (Posocje, Slovenia)notes Habitat: Secondary young mixed wood and bushes, in shade, partly protected from direct rain by tree canopies, rather cool and humid place, no sun for about 6 month per year, average precipitation ~ 3.000 mm/year, average temperature 6-8 deg C, elevation 840 m (2.750 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: Cut down Picea abies stump, not much rooted, partly still in bark. - Many thanks to Tom Volk at MushroomObserver.org for identification.camera Nikon D70 / Nikkor Micro 105mm/f2.8
