| Reviewer's comments: | | | "The inflorescence of Keckiella ternata is leafy and the lobes of the lower lip are wider, spreading and not reflexed. The plant pictured, especially the glabrous inflorescence and the narrow, reflexed lobes of the lower lip, fits the description for Penstemon labrosus and looks like every P. Labrosus I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. The glabrous inflorescence excludes P. rostriflorus with which it could also be confused. " |
