habitat On leaf litter, in a mature forest.notes Este es un C. megacephalus adulto, hallado a las 10:30 de la manana en un bosque maduro, aproximadamente a 1000 m.s.n.m.. Estaba sobre hojarasca humeda, y cuando yo me le acerque aplasto su cuerpo contra la hojarasca y permanecio quieto. La fotografia es parte del proyecto PILA-Darwin: Herramientas basicas para el manejo del Parque Internacional La Amistad ('Darwin Initiative', numero de beca 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I. La Amistad (Costa Rica/Panama)'), del Museo de Historia Natural de Londres y la Universidad de Costa Rica. //// It is an adult C. megacephalus, found during the day (at 10:30), in a mature forest about 1000 m a.s.l.. It was on moist leaf litter, and pressed its body against the ground and was motionless when I was closer to it. The picture is part of the PILA-Darwin Project ('Darwin Initiative' 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I.
