  • notes   MOLLUSK 2007, STNF, USFS: MOOSEHEAD: This was 1 dark-colored morph of an obvisously multi-colored Prophysaon dubium population in the vicinity of the Moosehead Project Area, where Tom Kirk, David Loya, Sandra Brown and myself conducted 10 days of intensive mollusk surveys on the STNF. Prophysaon dubium was commonly encountered but there were very dark papillose slugs (NORMAL), 1 blonde PRDU that David Loya found, and blue-grey but still papillose ones I found with some micro-snails (Pristiloma-Oxychilus sp?) associated with boulder piles, and downwed woody debris. The DWD I found most on were PINUS and CADE, overall; all pieces had white mycelium with the slug detections.
