habitat downed wood in mixed coniferous forestspecies associated with this habitat: Human finger tip and slug on Pinus ponderosa bark notes MOLLUSK 2007, STNF, USFS: MOOSEHEAD: This was 1 blue-colored morph of an obvisously multi-colored Prophysaon dubium population in the vicinity of the Moosehead Project Area, where Tom Kirk, David Loya, Sandra Brown and myself conducted 10 days of intensive mollusk surveys on the STNF. Prophysaon dubium was commonly encountered but there were very dark papillose slugs, 1 blonde PRDU that David Loya found, and this blue-grey but still papillose one I found with some micro-snails (Pristiloma-Oxychilus sp?) associated with boulder piles.camera SONY Digital 1.6 megapixels to data card /no film
