habitat under boulder in creeknotes Found during graduate student Seth Pouge's Dicamptodon tenebrosus study in NW California, 1993, when I worked for Humboldt State University Foundation as Herpetologist in field for 2 months July-August. This one egg was 1 of 8 torn off a tailed frog clutch by juvenile salmonid (trout) juveniles when the nest was found during a Dicamptodon survey. Now preserved; will be in Humboldt State University Collection in 2007.camera Sony Digital with Macro Function
