| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Red abalone typically only have 3-4 holes open, while greens have 5-7 open. Also, the shell structure is not right for a red, which isn't so well organized. The spiraling ribs seen on this shell are consistent with a green abalone, as is the mantle and tentacle color." |
