notes Mashed and deformed in flatbed scanner! Normally, blade angles away from sheath. Here they are mashed into the same plane, deforming the auricles but exposing the ligule (0.5 - 1 mm long, re Jepson.) The auricles are clasping and a bit hairy, but that's not apparent in this scan.camera flatbed scanner
