| Reviewer's comments: | | | "I was with Henk when he photographed this animal. I counted the costal grooves and specifically checked for eye and dorsal pigment characters on it and the juvenile. The grooves numbered 17. I also adpressed limbs, all to confirm the Plethodon asupak identification. This animal was found off Roxbury Road, Siskiyou County, a previously unpublished locality for the recently described species, but near Muck-a-Muck creek, where it is previously known from." |
