  • notes   Detail of inflorescence of T.grandiflora. The petals change color from dull yellow-green to deep-red as they age. They are also delightfully fringed/dissected (reminescent of Mitella, from which the anagram Tellima comes). There are 10 yellow stamens (not all visible here)and two wine-red styles. A lovely plant!
  • camera   Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f16, 1/200, ISO 100, w/ flash using a Canon 50mm compact macro lens.
