| Reviewer's comments: | | | "I believe this to be a Rubus species, possibly Rubus parviflorus (thimbleberry). Note large, pubescent leaves and sepals; stamens arranged around periphery of receptacle; bluntly convex fruit (usually pointed, even at anthesis in Fragaria chiloensis); and crinkled petals (atypical of Fragaria, but typical of Rubus parviflorus). " |
