  • habitat  This is a juvenile, 20mm snout-vent length, found on the ground in the leaf litter.
  • notes   (juvenile, dorsolateral view) Note the posteriorly converging laterosacral plicae that meet in a V-shape. In Panama one finds individuals with parallel plicae. East of the Panama Canal the plicae are absent, representing a different species, E. opimus (Savage & Myers 2002).
