notes Rugged, beautiful area in the Lava Beds. This Cypress species covers around 7,000 acres at this site. Cones are very small for a Cypress, and are ash gray in colour. Many of these trees were infested with a species of mistletoe which adds its own colour, (olive green), to the more light blue or gray/ green of the needles of the trees.camera Fuji 35mm zoom
