Pinus sp. | 1999-04-22- Name changed from 'Pinus quadrifolia' to 'Pinus sp.' per Laura D. Merrill [Merrill_Laura/psw_rfl@fs.fed.us] |

Pinus sp. |
| This note is to second Laura Merrill's annotation removing the label of P. quadrifolia from this image. Neither the habitat, habit, or the cone are anything like any of the nut pines. The trees in the background are likely P. ponderosa, and this could be a young member of that species. |

Pinus jeffreyi (Black Pine, Bull Pine, Jeffrey Pine, Ponderosa Pine, Western Yellow Pine, Jeffrey Pine, Jeffery Pine, Pino Negro) | Agreed with the two previous reviewers, it is not Pinus quadrifolia.
